Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lip Blush.

Lip Blush typically lasts 12–24 months, sometimes longer depending on skin type, sun exposure, and lifestyle. Most clients schedule a color refresh between six and eighteen months to maintain tone, shape, and intensity.

Most clients feel minimal discomfort. We apply a topical numbing agent before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable. Sensations are usually mild pressure or tingling, and the experience is generally well tolerated.

Initial swelling and heightened color are normal for several days. Lips may scab lightly and soften over one to two weeks; final color settles after healing. Avoid sun exposure, heavy exercise, and picking scabs during recovery.

Ideal candidates are adults seeking subtle, low-maintenance lip enhancement with realistic expectations. Those with active cold sores should consult a physician first. We review medical history during consultation to ensure safety and success.

Avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and excessive caffeine 48–72 hours before your appointment. Pause retinoids and exfoliants as advised. If you have cold sores, take prescribed antivirals prior. We provide a detailed pre-care list when booking.

We offer a curated palette of natural and pigmented tones. During consultation we assess skin tone, lip undertones, and desired intensity, then create a custom mix. Digital previews and pigment trials help ensure you love the final shade.
